The Walking Dead เป็นมินิซีรี่ย์แนวซอมบี้เรื่องใหม่ที่กำลังจะฉายทางช่อง AMC โดยปกติไม่ค่อยมีซีรี่ย์แนวๆนี้ออกมาให้เห็นกันมากนัก ยกเว้นก็ Dead Set ที่ทำออกมาโดนด่าเละแต่ซีรี่ย์เรื่องนี้มีโปรดิวเซอร์มือดีอย่าง Frank Darabont ที่มีดีกรีเป็นถึงโปรดิวเซอร์คนเดียวกะเรื่อง Terminator ทำให้หลายๆคนมั่นใจว่าซีรี่ย์เรื่องนี้ต้องสนุกแน่นอน นอกจากนี้ The Walking Dead ยังได้กลายเป็นหัวข้อที่คนสนใจกันมากที่สุดในงาน Comic-Con 2010 ที่ผ่านมาด้วย
